While sitting in the waiting area while Burt is getting his eyes checked for new glasses, I have been thinking about a lot of things. This is the first time that either of us have been to Eyeglass World for an exam and glasses. The ladies that I have spoken to on the phone and the staff that we have interacted with in the office have been terrific. They have been here two years, celebrating their anniversary on April 8th. After his exam with the eye doctor, we sat down with the optician. She explained all of his options and prices along with what our insurance would cover. After he placed his order, she told us that we can pick them up at 5 cdt. Amazing. Same day progressives! The lens cutter, maker, crafter guy is named Jason. Let’s see if his work quality is as good as Monica, Sam, and the doctor. 😁 I’m probably just as excited for his new glasses as I will be when I get mine next. We are looking forward to picking them up in a couple of hours.
After our stop at Eyeglass World, we went on down the road just a little bit to… Central Park… What else did you expect from us? 😁 Burger and fries were eaten.
There is a lot going in our world right now. A physical and eye exam are only part of it. We decided to not say anything about what we are working on but don’t worry, we will share as soon as we know something more concrete. 😆
